Photographs of My Collections
This page is intended to show you a few photographs from my collections. Collecting lures is
addicting just like ever other hobby. While I have all different types of lures, I'm trying to show you where I've
attempted to focus my core collection. Color collecting a lure and/or series can be quite challenging.
If you have anything that I might be able to add to my collection, please email me at mrnick@tacklecollecting.com
Shakespeare Collections
This is my first and probably my favorite of all my collections. Most would frown upon on such a low end
lure to collect, but I collect things that I have fished with or would fish with during the timeframe. This is
Shakespeare's attempt to break into the lighter tackle market. Little did they know this would become the standard
sizes for fishing for bass in later years. Most of these lures were produced from 1940 to 1954.

Al Foss Collections
I only collect a few things from Al Foss, most that collect Al Foss collect everything. I like the Oriental Wigglers and Little Egypts primarily. The Little Egypts are fun, because
you can find an assortment of different eye colors.

Arbogast Collections
I like all the early Arbogast stuff, especially the Tin Lizs. I'm missing some of the tougher ones, like the Walleye and Musky Tin Lizs. The earlier wooden and plastic lip Jitterbugs of the 1940's
are a fun ever growing collection. The are now starting to get pretty high for some of the tougher colors.

Heddon Collections
I started collecting wooden Crazy Crawlers originally, then decided to branch out into plastics. This is an area you need to be very careful, as PRADCO Outdoors has reissued
older colors and lures. I collect the plastics, because this is what I currently fish with and there are a bunch of cool colors.

Creek Chub Collections
I only collect 2700 series Baby Jointed Pikies seriously. This collection is quite weak compared to others.
