DATES & COLORS SHOWN The Pal-O-Mine series 5000 was introduced in 1925, with a length of 3-1/4" and a weight of 1/2oz sporting two treble hooks. They were also offered at the same time and series number, with a length of 4-1/4" and a weight of 3/4oz. sporting three treble hooks. These two sizes were still offered in the catalogs, after the take over from Shakespeare in 1966. In 1932 they introduced a smaller version with the same series number, with a length or 2-3/4" and a weight of 1/3 oz. sporting two treble hooks. The smaller size was not listed in catalogs during 1957. The Jointed Pal-O-Mines series 9000 was introduced in 1934, with a length of 4-1/4" and a weight of 3/4oz. sporting three treble hooks. The smaller size was introduced in 1936 with the same series number, with a length of 3-1/4" and a weight of 1/2 oz. sporting two treble hooks. The jointed models had disappeared from catalogs in 1962. The small size 2-3/4" series 5000 and jointed series 9000 were not offered in all colors shown below, so the dates will not reflect accurately for these lures. I am not perfect. All colors shown were offered on the Pal-O-Mines, and many other Pflueger lures. The dates are not correct for the small size 2-3/4" series 5000 and jointed series 9000, but are accurate for the 3-1/4" and 4-1/4" series 5000.
